It was a real honor for me to have been awarded with the task of creating the “Morse Code” album art and inner booklet design for musician Elle Cordova.

Designing this album art was such a thrilling experience for me since music is one of my great passions. Elle graciously afforded me creative freedom in shaping the visual idea for the “Morse Code” album, the concept of which centered around the title track, “Morse Code,” which I translated the actual lyrics into Morse code typography.

This idea was further brought to life, with the entire front cover adorned in gold foil featuring the full lyrics of the title track against a black backdrop. The Deluxe Edition presented a captivating reversal, employing black text on a gold background for added visual contrast. The next challenge involved arranging all the song lyrics and acknowledgments within the confines of the vinyl inner sleeve. A parallel effort was to replicate this process for the 6-page CD booklet, ensuring a seamless and visually compelling layout that complemented the overall look of the album.

The Future of Work Is Human (2023)

The assignment for this cover design entailed crafting an illustration that conveyed the enduring relevance of humanity in the evolving landscape of future industry. The task posed a unique challenge of visually representing a business person undergoing a transformative journey emerging from a city skyline. After numerous iterations and refinements, I ultimately conceptualized a compelling image that seamlessly extended across both the back and front covers.

Sherlock Holmes - Spanish (2021)

Even though this project was for a Spanish translation of Sherlock Holmes, by using iconic visuals, it was easier to transcend language barriers. The contrast between bold yellow and negative space not only worked perfectly with the mystery genre, but the double visual added a surprising element – or rather an unexpected ‘twist’.
